What is Channel Inc?
Channel Inc. is a web-based real estate transaction management application that helps asset owners and asset manager be more efficient. Our product strategy is to offer complete default solution capabilities from workout through resale.
What is Workflow?
Workflow technology helps clients automate the next step in whatever process they follow in their business. Workflow technology enables clients to take out manual, paper-intensive activities and increase the volume of files completed without hiring additional staff. Clients configure the Channel software to the business rules already in place.
Can I set up my own Reports?
Yes. A sort able Pipeline report and several basic reports are included, but if you tell us the rows and columns you need, we can typically develop a new report within 72 hours.
Can I control what some users see and do in the system?
Absolutely. The administrator of the client system can add, delete or change a users permissions at any time. This is done by creating a User Group, giving specific permissions to that user group and then assigning individual users to one or more Groups.
Can I use Firefox, Chrome or other web browsers?
Yes. Channel Inc. is built entirely on a Microsoft platform, therefore so the look and feel is slightly different when using Firefox, Chrome, Safari or other web browsers. Internet Explorer from Microsoft is free and a link is on the Channel Login screen.
Can I back up my files to my own servers?
Yes. There is a backup utility that client administrator controls. They can designate backups to be run monthly, weekly, daily or whatever cycle they prefer.

How long is the implementation process? Is this a product installation or is it setup in an ASP model?
Channel Inc. is a hosted application, and the customer implementation effort has been continuously refined to take advantage of best practices. From this experience, we created a methodology, called Rapid Start, to guide the implementation effort. Customers can be up and running in days using default configurations. Custom configurations will be scoped and estimated for clients.
